YAYASAN MR. D.I.Y., in partnership with Persatuan Aktivis Sahabat Alam (KUASA), successfully planted 500 forest trees at Taman Alam Kinta, Gopeng, Perak. The initiative involved 75 volunteers, including local community members, who united to support environmental conservation efforts.

This programme forms part of YAYASAN MR. D.I.Y.’s ongoing commitment in promoting environmental awareness and encouraging community-led action. It focused on rehabilitating degraded areas by planting pioneer tree species to improve soil quality and restore biodiversity.

Taman Alam Kinta, recognised as the third State Park in Perak since 2017, is home to over 150 species of water birds, including the rare heron. The initiative also served as an educational platform, helping volunteers understand the importance of sustainable environmental practices.
